The final strength of the concrete poured in the hot weather will be reduced. Its influence factors are as below:

(1) The temperature of the concrete is higher;

(2) Coagulation and early strength growth faster;

(3) Increased water consumption at the same slump requirements.

Action:

(1) Sprinkle water onto the aggregate pile and cool down by evaporation of water;

(2) Adding a retarder to the concrete;

(3) If necessary, with ice instead of part of the mixed water;

(4) Mixed with fly ash to regulate the impact of hot weather;

(5) Increase the amount of cement appropriately in concrete per cubic meter.
